Inverness-based brand and creative agency Strut has launched the official mobile app for Premiership Women’s Rugby – the elite English club competition now known as the Jaecoo PWR – bringing the fastest-growing league in women’s rugby to fans’ fingertips on both iOS and Android.

Designed and built by the Strut team, the app is the go-to home for supporters of the women’s domestic game. It draws fixtures, live match updates, league standings, breaking news and club-by-club information into a single, unified platform, alongside a PWR TV function that streams live matches and highlight reels.
Whether following Ellie Kildunne, Meg Jones or Sadia Kabeya, supporters can now keep pace with the season wherever they are.
The response has been overwhelmingly positive. The app has passed 3,500 downloads since launch, with supporters and clubs alike praising its clarity and ease of use.”
Darren Hanley, Director of Brand, Marketing & Communications at PWR, said, “We are so thankful to the team at Strut for all the time and effort they’ve dedicated to the official PWR app. We are always looking at new ways to engage with PWR fans, and the app is an incredible opportunity to do exactly that.
“It looks fantastic, its UX is completely intuitive, and dealing with the team throughout the process has been a pleasure. Their expertise and collaborative nature has meant we’ve ended up with a product we couldn’t be happier with.”
For Strut, it was a fantastic chance to work at the sharp end of a sport whose profile is rising faster than almost any other in the UK, and to build something that thousands of supporters would reach for every matchday.
Chris Hawkes, CEO at Strut said,“Working on the PWR app has been a hugely positive experience for our team. Women’s rugby is capturing the imagination of a whole new audience, and being trusted to build the platform that connects that audience to the league is the kind of brief you dream of.
“We’ve had a superb partnership with Darren and the PWR team from day one – deep collaboration, sharp thinking and a shared vision of what we were looking to achieve.
“Passing 3,500 downloads already tells us the fans wanted this as much as we did.”
The official PWR app is free to download now on the App Store and Google Play.
The app launch builds on Strut’s existing work with PWR, having previously delivered the league’s website, www.thepwr.com

Strut operates from The Green House at Beechwood Business Park in Inverness and works with clients across sport and lifestyle, energy and renewables, travel and tourism, and AI and data.
