The recent Mikeysline Royal Ascot Ladies Day at The Kingsmills Hotel in Inverness has been hailed as a sparkling success after raising an outstanding £19,000 for the grassroots mental health and suicide prevention charity.
The annual fundraiser brought together guests, local businesses and supporters for a glamorous afternoon inspired by Royal Ascot, combining style, entertainment, auctions and community spirit in support of Mikeysline’s vital work across the Highlands, Islands and Moray.
Hosted at The Kingsmills Hotel on Thursday 18 June, the event celebrated the very best of Highland generosity. Guests enjoyed a day of racing-themed fun, fabulous outfits and fundraising, with proceeds going directly towards Mikeysline’s frontline services for people experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, loneliness, depression and/or thoughts of suicide.
Emily Stokes, chief executive of Mikeysline, said, “Mikeysline Ladies’ Day 2026 was a truly fantastic event, filled with high spirits, incredible outfits and a real sense of community. We’re so grateful to everyone who came along and supported us – it made for such a special day. Thanks to that support, we’re delighted to have raised over £19,000 for our grassroots charity, which will go directly towards helping people across the Highlands, Islands and Moray with their mental health. We’re already looking ahead with excitement to next year’s event on Thursday, 17th June, and can’t wait to do it all again.”
The success of this year’s event reflects the strength of Mikeysline’s longstanding partnership with The Kingsmills Hotel and the continued commitment of the Highland community to improving access to compassionate, non-judgemental mental health support.
Mikeysline provides confidential support to people of all ages, including text-based support, one-to-one appointments, face-to-face support through its Hives and mental health awareness work in schools, communities and workplaces. Fundraising events such as Royal Ascot Ladies Day play an essential role in sustaining and expanding these services at a time when demand for mental health support remains high.
Following the success of this year’s celebration, Mikeysline is already looking ahead to next year’s Royal Ascot Ladies’ Day, which will take place on Thursday, 17th June 2027.
