Kishorn Port Expansion

As Kishorn Port Ltd (KPL) reaches the 11-month milestone of its port and dry dock expansion project, the completion of Phase 1A is now firmly in sight.

The transformation taking place across the site is becoming increasingly visible, with the footprint of the new 260-metre dry dock extension now clearly taking shape. Progress also continues on the surrounding land reclamation and supporting infrastructure that will underpin the future growth of the facility.

Phase 1A remains on schedule for completion in September/October 2026, when the extended dry dock will be available and open for business, enabling a return to full-scale operational capacity.

Once complete, the expanded dry dock will be capable of accommodating vessels up to 260 metres in length and 160 metres in width, with 13.8 metres MHWS. The wider development will deliver significant additional laydown space for marshalling and assembly, alongside enhanced anchorage and mooring facilities, increasing capacity to support future Oil & Gas, Decommissioning, Aquaculture, and offshore wind concrete substructure manufacturing activities.

KPL’s 11-month progress video showcases the significant developments achieved to date and highlights the continued progress being made across the site.
