The Macdonald Aviemore Resort are delighted to announce the appointment of Wendy Russell as the new Director of Sales for Macdonald Aviemore Resort. Wendy joins the team with a strong background in tourism, hospitality, and destination marketing, bringing a wealth of experience from her previous roles at the Glasgow Convention Bureau and the Caledonian Sleeper.
During her time at the Glasgow Convention Bureau, Wendy played a key role in positioning the city as a leading destination for business events, working closely with industry partners to drive visitor growth and economic impact. Her most recent role with the Caledonian Sleeper saw her promoting one of Scotland’s most iconic travel experiences, connecting travellers to the heart of the Highlands with a deep passion for Scottish tourism.
