Albyn Housing Society, a leading force in community development across the Highlands, is extending a warm invitation to contractors to participate in upcoming contract opportunities. The organisation, responsible for managing 3,700 homes spread across 70 communities is set to tender for reactive repairs, void works including kitchen and bathroom upgrades, and aids and adaptations projects.
In an effort to create an inclusive and attractive tender process, Albyn Housing is reaching out to contractors inviting them to provide their valuable input with the goal of ensuring accessibility for contractors of all sizes and locations, fostering collaboration and growth within the community.
Albyn has organised Teams consultation sessions, led by Julie Caughey of Caughey Solutions Ltd, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in procurement. Contractors are invited to choose from multiple sessions scheduled for November 22nd and 23rd.
These 1-hour sessions will be an opportunity to consult with contractors on all aspects of the tender before it is published, including how we break it down (lots), questions we ask (award criteria) and pricing options.
Albyn is inviting all contractors, to select a preferred Teams Session at the following times:
Wednesday 22nd November at 9.30 a.m.
Wednesday 22nd November at 2.30p.m.
Thursday 23rd November at 6.00 p.m.
Contractors are encouraged to email asset.enquiries@albynhousing.org.uk to confirm their attendance and receive a meeting link.
In addition, following the publication of the tender on Public Contract Scotland, further sessions will be offered to contractors where participants will gain insight into the tender process, including navigating Public Contract Scotland (PCS), expressing interest, downloading documents, completing the Single Procurement Document and submitting bids effectively.
