Inverness Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce Trees for Life as the official charity partner for Highland Business Week 2025 – marking the first time the event has partnered with a charity.

As part of the partnership, Trees for Life will be showcased at all Highland Business Week programme events, taking place from Monday 22 to Friday 26 September, and will be present at Highland Spotlight on Tuesday 23 September, giving businesses and individuals multiple opportunities to support the charity’s pioneering rewilding work.

A prize draw will be launched in the run-up to the week, with local businesses encouraged to donate prizes. In addition, a dedicated JustGiving page will soon be live, allowing supporters to contribute directly to the charity’s mission to restore Scotland’s native woodlands and wildlife.

Paula Nicol, Head of Events and Deputy Chief Executive at Inverness Chamber of Commerce, said, “Having a charity partner is a new and exciting development for Highland Business Week, and we were so taken with the mission and aims of Trees for Life that we felt this opportunity was the perfect fit. Their work speaks to a growing awareness within the business community of the importance of protecting our environment and taking positive action. We hope this partnership inspires Highland businesses to support rewilding efforts and embrace sustainability in a meaningful way.”

Trees for Life, established in 1993, is a leading rewilding charity working to restore the Caledonian Forest and create nature-rich landscapes that support biodiversity and people. Their flagship Dundreggan Rewilding Centre, opened in 2023, offers a unique venue for businesses seeking to enhance environmental responsibility and build stronger connections with sustainability-conscious customers and employees.

Catherine Faulkner, Partnerships Manager at Trees for Life, said, “We are delighted to have been chosen as the charity partner for this year’s Highland Business Week. Working with local businesses is key to the continued success of our rewilding work and we are keen to share the opportunities available with Trees for Life and Dundreggan. We are very much looking forward to connecting with our fellow Chamber members in September and exploring ways in which we can work together.”

Inverness Chamber of Commerce looks forward to working closely with Trees for Life throughout Highland Business Week 2025, and to seeing the positive impact the business community can make when it comes together to support environmental change.

Highland Business Week 2025 will take place in September, with a full programme of events celebrating and supporting the region’s business community.
