At Inverness Chamber of Commerce we take your privacy seriously and want to ensure transparency around how we use your details, and how we protect it.
We have a commitment to our Chamber members to connect their business to help them grow, and this requires us to process your personal data but you can view how we process your data here.
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a regulation in EU law on data protection and privacy for all individuals within the European Union and the European Economic Area. The GDPR aims primarily to give control to citizens and residents over their personal data. You have the right to view the information we hold for you at any time and remove your details from our records. Our privacy notice regarding members can be found here.
“Personal Data” is any information related to a natural person or ‘Data Subject’, that can be used to directly or indirectly identify the person. Although Inverness Chamber is a business to business membership organisation we do have to process personal data, such as the name and email addresses of staff within a member business.
It is really important to keep your data up-to-date so that we are able to contact you with information you will find relevant and interesting, allowing you to maximise the opportunities available to you and your business as a member of Inverness Chamber. We may also process your personal data when you book onto or attend a Chamber event, or if you use a service such as Chamber HR, Westfield Health or our profile raising opportunities.
If you believe the data we hold for you is inaccurate or you would like to be removed from our records please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
