Inverness’ annual Moonlight Ball is back, and this year’s event promises to be a stellar night of celebration, entertainment and fundraising in support of The Archie Foundation.
Tickets have officially gone on sale for this year’s Moonlight Ball, with guests invited to dress up, dine, dance and help shine a light on the vital work of The Archie Foundation.
Taking place on Friday 6 November at the Drumossie Hotel, the annual event is organised by Mary Nimmo and Jacqueline Brown of Munro and Noble Solicitors and Estate Agents.
Now in its eighth year, the Moonlight Ball has become a highlight of the social calendar, raising vital funds to support babies, children and families across the Highlands. Last year’s event raised more than £100,000 for Archie.
This year’s Winter Wonderland-themed Ball will bring together guests from across Inverness for an evening of dinner, dancing and fundraising, with Kenny Smith taking to the stage as MC for the evening.
Keeping guests on their feet throughout the night will be live band Mojo Switch, while there will also be a raffle and games, giving guests plenty of opportunities to get involved and help raise vital funds.
With tickets now available, organisers Mary and Jacqueline – who also run the sought-after Prosecco Picnic for Archie – are encouraging guests to book to avoid disappointment.
Mary said, “Don’t miss your chance to be part of a night that promises to be truly out of this world. The Ball is about bringing people together, having a wonderful night and, most importantly, making a real difference to children and families supported by The Archie Foundation.
“We have lots planned for this year’s event and we’re looking forward to making it a night to remember. We hope everyone will come along, get into the spirit of the occasion and help us make this year’s event shine even brighter.”
Funds raised at the event will support Archie’s work across the Highlands, including at the Highland Children’s Unit (HCU). This includes making a difference to children and families in hospital at Christmas.
Through its Christmas support, Archie helps create special moments for children and families who may otherwise be facing a challenging and uncertain Christmas, providing gifts, festive activities and thoughtful touches to help make their time in hospital a little brighter, as well as providing treats for staff at the HCU who are working over the festive period.
Neil McGregor, fundraising and business development manager at Archie in the Highlands, said, “We’re so grateful to Mary and Jacqueline for organising such a stand-out event year after year.
“The support of events like the Moonlight Ball makes a real difference, helping us create special moments and bring a little magic to children and families when they need it most.
“If you’re a business looking to support a worthy cause or want to gather friends and family to dance in the moonlight, we would encourage you to secure your space now.”
Tickets are priced at £100 per person or £1,000 for a table of 10 and can be purchased by contacting Jacqueline at jacquelineb@munronoble.com.
