Macleod & MacCallum, Solicitors, based in Inverness and Portree are delighted to announce that they have been joined by well-known and respected solicitor, Findlay Boyd. Findlay joins from a national legal firm and has been appointed as a Director and as Head of their Rural Land and Crofting departments.
Findlay commented “I am excited to be able to work with the Firm’s clients and to continue to develop and grow their Rural Land and Crofting departments. Being born and raised on the Isle of Skye, I believe I have a real understanding of the challenges that face the rural and crofting communities, which helps me improve the service I can offer to clients”.
The firm is also pleased to announce the promotion of Rory Carson to Associate. Rory began his career with the firm as a Trainee Solicitor in 2019 after studying at Aberdeen University, before deciding to return home to Inverness to practice law. Rory qualified as a Solicitor in 2021, becoming an integral part of Macleod & MacCallum’s busy Residential Conveyancing Team, buying and selling properties throughout the Highlands, Islands and beyond.
