Introducing Lauren Rennet, Co-owner and Creative Director
With three decades of brand specialism behind her, Lauren has supported and guided hundreds of established and up-and-coming brands.
Whether a business is dreaming of launching or mobilising an international team to scale and enter new markets, Lauren is committed to helping it use creativity and the power of brand to grow. Her goal is to help brands win the hearts and minds of those essential to their success – investors, customers, team members, and future talent.
As Lauren explains, “Your brand is much more than your logo – it’s how your audience feels about your business – how they perceive your expertise, your opinion, your culture, and your impact – often online before they have any contact with you. It carries great influence and inspires the way they act next.”
Lauren works with clients from the very beginning of a project. Their brand-id workshop is the ideal catalyst for brand development. It defines success and aligns business and brand strategies. This solid foundation informs the creative thinking that evokes positive brand energy across all touchpoints of the brand experience – online, offline, and in physical spaces.
Brands thrive when they dare to stand out and create lasting positive impressions. Elastic’s clients often describe the experience as a breath of fresh air. Their approach is:
- Energising and motivating
- Collaborative to the core
- Refreshingly effective
- They are driven by a few simple but powerful ideas:
- Say goodbye to bland
- Embrace elastic thinking
- Bring boundless creative energy
- Be a force for positive change

Inspired by diversity and driven by impact
Elastic is inspired every day by the diversity of people and projects they support.
They believe variety is the key to their success as a creative team. Their multi-sector experience ensures they never suffer from tunnel vision and keep their thinking truly elastic.
Some examples of how they are currently supporting clients include:
- Helping the Dornoch BID team create and launch a fresh new brand and website to attract year-round visitors and build a sustainable local economy.
- Collaborating with the Caithness Chamber of Commerce to develop two sister brands and websites with a cohesive visual identity, working in synergy to position the North Highlands as a destination for living, working, thriving, and exploring.
- Supporting NHS Lanarkshire’s University Hospital Monklands replacement project- one of Scotland’s most significant infrastructure projects – by shaping its brand, digital presence, and online community engagement.
- Working with the world-leading Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle on brand experience development, website design and build, beautiful video production, and print.
- Advising Broker Insights (Dundee) on brand development as they scale their award-winning insurance intelligence platform across the UK and US.
- Creating the brand identity for Reforj, the exciting new game under development at Dundee-based 4J Studios, renowned for making Minecraft accessible across all platforms.
- Rebranding globally successful architects Keppie (Glasgow) and launching a new website to celebrate their 170-year history of innovation and trend-setting – capturing this spirit for the next era and attracting new projects and talent.
- For Chronicle Heritage, one of several US clients, managing their international online brand experience and delivering digital marketing to help them maintain a market-leading position in preserving cultural heritage while enabling efficient, compliant infrastructure development.
As the team says – there is never a dull day.
Looking Ahead
Elastic’s recent decision to join the Inverness Chamber of Commerce marks an exciting new chapter. They are looking forward to deepening their commitment to the Highlands, making new connections, and empowering the region’s brands at a time of incredible opportunity and transformation.
“This is not a time for brands to blend in – it’s a time to stand out, be seen, heard, and championed,” says Lauren.
We are excited to welcome Elastic to our Chamber community and look forward to seeing the positive creative energy they will bring to businesses across the region.
