Leading independent accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Carmichael is shining a spotlight on the newest additions to its Inverness leadership team.
Martin Bannerman and Allison Dalton were both promoted to the position of Director in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, and 18 months on have been continuing to guide clients through an undeniably challenging time as they grapple with the ongoing consequences of the pandemic and a fast-changing business environment.
Allison Dalton, who originally joined the firm’s Glasgow office in 2006, has been based in Inverness since 2015 and leads a portfolio of owner-managed businesses. In 2021, Allison was appointed Head of Johnston Carmichael’s Construction & Property sector team, leading a team of experts recognised by property developers, construction professionals and HMRC as market leaders in this specialist field.
Martin Bannerman joined Johnston Carmichael in 2007 and during his time with the firm has provided audit, assurance and accounting services to clients across a number of industry sectors. Martin leads statutory audit engagements as well as specialising in the delivery of grant claim certifications and other assurance assignments for clients across the firm.
Rosalind Catto, Partner and Head of Johnston Carmichael’s Inverness office, said: “Allison and Martin have been absolutely essential in our ongoing efforts to support our clients during what has been a challenging time for many. Their insight and business acumen has continued to drive both our Inverness team and the wider firm forward, and their expertise will be invaluable as we look ahead to the opportunities that the rest of 2022 will bring for both our clients and our business.”
