Inverness Chamber here to support H&I firms navigate US Tariffs

Keeping up to date on the rapidly changing tariff announcements made by the US government is presenting a significant challenge to UK businesses with many wondering how to navigate the new rules. Whilst the new UK Export Finance package is welcomed, the British Chambers of Commerce are calling for continued support from the UK Government to cushion the effects upon UK firms exporting to the United States.

As a network, the BCC play a central role in facilitating £16bn of UK international trade each year and we are here to support businesses navigate uncertainty and challenges in global trade.

William Bain, Head of Trade Policy at the BCC, said “UK firms have the resilience and agility to get through this period and, with the right support from the Chamber Network and Government, carry on trading with key markets like the US.”

Given the unpredictability and fast pace of change, Inverness Chamber are here to offer advice and support for Highlands & Islands firms shipping to the US. If you have any questions or concerns regarding US Tariffs, get in touch with international@inverness-chamber.co.uk for more info.
