Highland BlindCraft is thrilled to announce the launch of two innovative projects aimed at enhancing community well-being and sustainability.
The first project/product, an Eco Mattress, reflects the organisation’s commitment to eco-friendly solutions by using sustainable materials in mattress production. This project not only supports environmental conservation but also provides customers with high-quality, ethically made products.
The second major project is the Highland BlindCraft SensoryServices Drop-In Centre, a dedicated space to support individuals with low vision/visual impairments. This new facility offers a welcoming environment where visitors can access tailored hearing and sight services alongside support from their friendly and knowledgeable team.
In addition to these projects, Highland BlindCraft has been recognised for its outstanding contributions with several award nominations. The organisation is a finalist in the Prosper/Highlands and Islands Business Excellence Awards for Logan Air Award for Excellence in Customer Service and the Highland Council Award for Purposeful Business. Highland BlindCraft is also nominated for Employer of the Year at the Highland Business Awards by the Inverness Chamber of Commerce.
