Based in Glasgow and supporting clients across the UK, Des will play a central role in building Arthian’s offshore environmental advisory capability.
This strategic move comes as Scotland’s offshore sector accelerates, supported by major investments such as Sumitomo’s recent commitment at the Port of Nigg. With increasing activity across the Highlands, Aberdeen, and the wider North Sea supply chain, Arthian is expanding its services to meet growing demand for robust environmental, planning, and engineering support.
Des brings significant expertise in post‑consent offshore renewables, including consents advisory and management, offshore ECoW, environmental management and compliance services. Much of his recent work has focused on offshore wind construction projects, giving Arthian immediate capability to support clients through complex regulatory and environmental challenges.
