Aquascot celebrates double success at EOA Live! 2026

Aquascot has secured two honours at the UK Employee Ownership Awards (EOA) 2026, recognising both individual achievement and long-term contribution to employee ownership.

Patrycja Cisewska, Aquascot’s Employee Ownership Trust Business Partner, has been named EO Owner of the Year, in recognition of her impact in strengthening and advancing the company’s employee ownership model.

The Employee Ownership Awards celebrate organisations and individuals who champion effective employee ownership and support its development. After several years as a dedicated partner at Aquascot, Patrycja returned from maternity leave in summer 2025 to take on a newly created role as Employee Ownership Trust Business Partner, where she has played a key role in strengthening the company’s approach to employee ownership.

Her work has improved alignment across cultural stewardship, governance, and partner engagement, supporting the continued development of employee ownership within the business.

Patrycja said, “This award means a great deal to me because it celebrates something I genuinely believe in: success means more when it’s shared. While my name may be on the award, it represents a much bigger story, and I’m proud to play a part in Aquascot’s employee ownership journey.”

Also at the event, Aquascot founder Dennis Overton was awarded the Philip Baxendale Fellowship Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to employee ownership

The recognition of both awards at the same event highlights Aquascot’s continued focus on embedding and championing employee ownership and reflects the strength of its established model.

Aquascot extends its thanks to the EOA for recognising the progress being made across the sector and providing a platform to showcase best practice.

The company also acknowledges the ongoing commitment of its partner employee, whose collective contribution underpins its continued success. This recognition further demonstrates the impact and growing strength of employee ownership within Scotland, particularly in the Highlands.
