We were delighted to host the British Chambers of Commerce Director General, Shevaun Haviland, to Inverness in April on the occasion of her first visit to Inverness and the Highlands. Shevaun met the Chamber team and engaged with a group of the region’s business leaders from key sectors, representing the breadth of our economy. In addition, we facilitated private briefings for Shevaun with Michael Golding, CEO of Visit Inverness Loch Ness and Joanne Allday from Opportunity Cromarty Firth, our region’s Green Freeport Bid. These briefings and engagement with our members gave Shevaun real insight into our region’s diverse business sectors and the impressive scale of the economic activity in the city of Inverness and our wider region.
