Inverness Chamber of Commerce has unveiled a bold new brand identity designed to reflect the organisation it has become today – and its ambitions for the future of the Highland business community.
Developed in collaboration with Chamber members and creative brand design partners Elastic Creative following a competitive tender process, the new brand represents a significant milestone for the Chamber as it continues to evolve its role as the leading voice of business across Inverness & Central Highland.
The refreshed identity captures the energy, diversity and ambition of a membership community that spans sectors, scales and geographies – from sole traders and SMEs to major national and international employers. At the heart of the new visual identity is a kaleidoscope-inspired design representing the collective force of the Chamber network and the influence created when businesses come together.
The rebrand follows a period of significant growth and evolution for the Chamber. While the organisation has modernised its services, expanded its influence and developed new ways to support members, it recognised the need for a brand that more accurately reflected the breadth of its work and the businesses it represents.
The new identity has been designed to showcase Inverness Chamber as a collective force for good – enabling businesses to flourish, championing the interests of the region and helping to create a vibrant and sustainable future for the Highland business community.
Established in 1893, Inverness Chamber has more than 130 years of history at the heart of the business community. The new brand builds on that heritage while creating a modern identity that reflects both the changing Highlands and the opportunities ahead.
As part of the rebrand, the Chamber’s flagship events portfolio has also undergone a transformation, with refreshed branding now unveiled for Highland Business Week, including Highland Spotlight and the Highland Business Awards, as well as the Highland Business Dinner. The updated look and feel reflects the scale, profile and ambition of these events as key platforms for connection, collaboration and celebration across the region.

Colin Marr, Chief Executive of Inverness Chamber of Commerce, said, “This was about creating a brand that reflects who we are today as an organisation and who we represent. Our members are innovative, ambitious and incredibly diverse, and we wanted our identity to better capture the energy and influence of that collective business community.
“The Highlands is changing rapidly, with significant opportunities emerging across multiple sectors, and Inverness Chamber has an important role to play in helping businesses navigate that change. We wanted a brand that reflects both our credibility and authority as a business organisation, but also the warmth, openness and collaboration that people associate with the Chamber.
“We do far more than many people perhaps realise – from advocacy and policy engagement to events, workforce development, connections and international support – and this new identity better represents the scale of that work and the ambition we have for the future.
“Elastic Creative understood that balance from the outset. They recognised the importance of maintaining the trust and heritage we’ve built over more than 130 years, while helping us create a modern brand that feels relevant nationally and rooted locally.”
Lauren Rennet, Co-Founder and Creative Director at Elastic Creative, said, “The Highlands is entering an exciting new chapter and Inverness Chamber continues to play a vital role in bringing businesses together to shape that future.
“Throughout the process, we spent time listening to members, stakeholders and the Chamber team to understand what makes Inverness Chamber unique. Again and again, we heard about the power of connection, collaboration and collective ambition.
“The new brand reflects that energy. The kaleidoscope device represents the diversity of the Chamber’s membership and the impact that can be achieved when different sectors, experiences and perspectives come together behind a shared vision. It is a brand designed not only for where the Chamber is today, but for where it is going next.”
The rebrand will be rolled out across the Chamber’s events, communications and member engagement activity over the coming months.
