High Life Highland is inviting women from across the Highlands to come together for a special wellbeing workshop focused on women’s health, taking place on Thursday 6 June at the Bught Park Pavilion in Inverness.
‘Wellness, Your Way – Well Women, Well Life’ is an empowering, menopause‑focused workshop designed to help women feel informed, supported and confident, while picking up practical tips to help them feel their best at this stage of life.
The two‑hour, in‑person event, running from 10am to 12 noon, is hosted by High Life Highland in partnership with expert clinicians from Menopause Health Highland, Dr Emma Rushworth and Dr Beth MacFarlane.
The workshop offers a welcoming and relaxed space for women to connect, share experiences of menopause and perimenopause and hear directly from the experts. Topics will include understanding menopause symptoms, ways to manage them, and clearing up some of the common myths surrounding the menopause. Attendees will also enjoy refreshments, goodie bags and the chance to win a three‑month highlife membership.
Emma Thomson, Business Development Manager at High Life Highland, said, “Wellness, Your Way is a new offering from High Life Highland, where we aim to host two or three wellbeing‑focused events each year. We’re delighted to be launching the programme with a menopause‑focused workshop and hope to follow this with future events covering men’s health, nutrition, mental health and much more.
Our first event in the series – ‘Well Women, Well Life’ – is not to be missed if you’re at that particular age and stage in life! As well as being highly informative, Emma and Beth from Menopause Health Highland are equally entertaining. It’s a great opportunity for women to take some time for themselves, enjoy the company of like‑minded people and relax with some lovely refreshments.”
Emma Rushworth, Menopause Health Highland, commented, “We are absolutely delighted to be teaming up with High Life Highland to deliver this special event. Being able to make an informed choice about your menopause care is extremely important so we aim to arm women with the knowledge – but also the confidence – they need to manage their menopause journey the best way they can.”
Tickets cost £20 for highlife members and £30 for non‑members but any new members joining on the day will receive £10 back. There is also an Early Bird offer for current highlife members priced £18 if you book by Thursday 30 April.
