I have been with Accord for around 18 months now. I have spent 30 years in the IT and digital industry working across Public and Private sector.
I absolutely love solving customer problems, building trust in what we can do for them and watching them grow as a business in partnership with us.
Accord will be leveraging its credentials with delivering successful security consultancy services to expand into end to end solutions for our customer base. More and more customers want outcomes rather than specific products and less complexity whilst having higher levels of assurance.
Accord is a one stop shop where the complexity of navigating security products is removed and we simply help secure information and data critical to businesses with our services. From an IT support point of view we will continue our journey towards building our client base. In particular we will be linking our support offerings to the concept of CE+ ready. Effectively helping each new customer build their position to have the peace of mind Accord is in line with the need for ever increasing levels of security alongside fantastic support services. We are actively looking to work with businesses who might be looking for something beyond IT Support, this is where Accord can be the extension of your business, acting as your IT department rather than a supplier.
Meet Dan Reid, Power Platform Director
I have been with Accord for five years. Prior to this, I worked as an Analyst/Developer for a financial services company, where I supported internal operational systems. The part of that role I enjoyed most was delivering value in solutions that had a visible, positive impact on my colleagues. When my team was made redundant as part of an offshoring initiative, I took the opportunity to focus more deliberately on that aspect of the work. While I still engage with technical problem solving from time to time, the most rewarding part of my role is working closely with clients, from identifying their pain points through to seeing their satisfaction when an effective solution is delivered
In 2026, we’re focusing on making our digital services simpler, stronger and more connected for the people who use them. We’ll continue building the Power Platform tools our clients rely on every day, while also bringing in more advanced technology from Azure whenever we need extra power, speed or flexibility.
A good example of this is our new SharePoint User Permission Health Report. SharePoint is still at the heart of it, but we’ve added extra behind the scenes technology to do the heavy lifting. This lets us analyse information in ways that simply weren’t possible with the standard tools, giving clients clearer, more accurate insights without extra manual work.

We’re taking the same approach with system integrations. Instead of separate systems that don’t talk to each other (or require a lot of copying and pasting), we’re helping businesses create smooth, automatic data flows between different platforms, even across different companies. It means processes that once felt disjointed or time consuming can now run end to end with minimal effort. For us and our clients, 2026 is about building solutions that are more connected, more resilient and better prepared for long term growth, while continuing to empower businesses through the Power Platform and Copilot.
