Norscot Achieves Silver Status in Highland Employer Charter

Norscot has been awarded Silver Charter Status as part of the Highland Employer Charter initiative, recognising the company’s strong commitment to responsible employment, community engagement, and environmental sustainability.

This milestone marks the successful completion of the Charter’s first phase. The Highland Council and Confirmation Panel commended Norscot for its efforts in supporting employee transport and accessibility, contributing to community wealth building, engaging with the third sector, and advancing net zero ambitions.

The Chartership represents a one-year commitment, with the opportunity for reassessment in 12 months to reaffirm progress across all pillars.

Jason Fraser, General Manager at Norscot, commented, “This award reflects the values we hold as a company — fairness, sustainability, and community. We’re proud of our team and grateful for the recognition.”

Iain Polworth, Inverness Branch Manager, attended the award ceremony and added, “It was an honour to accept the Silver Award on behalf of our colleagues. Recognition like this reinforces the value of our work and motivates us to keep pushing forward.”

Norscot remains focused on strengthening its workplace, deepening its community impact, and driving progress toward a more sustainable future.
