Genny Hire Ltd has officially welcomed Brodie Callaway as the company’s first apprentice, marking a significant step in its ongoing investment in future talent.
Brodie, the younger brother of Genny Hire’s Operations Supervisor Cameron Black, is no stranger to the business. Over the past year, he has been regularly involved behind the scenes — lending a hand with event set-ups, supporting the team on Saturday mornings, and getting hands-on experience during school holidays. His enthusiasm and growing interest in the industry made him a natural choice as Genny Hire launched its first formal apprenticeship programme.
Now stepping into the role of Apprentice Generator Technician, Brodie will combine practical training with formal study, learning the ins and outs of temporary power systems from Genny Hire’s experienced team.
