Moment was founded a little over 2 years ago to bring modern marketing to the masses. The founder is Aberdeen-born Adam Bell, who began his career in marketing as an intern with Microsoft in London. From there he has worked for various agencies in the UK and Australia. Having now settled back in the North of Scotland, Adam and their team of 7 want to help all businesses access modern marketing technologies and techniques, to help them grow in an increasingly “online” world.
Im Adam Bell and my role is that of Technical Director. I am well supported by the team at Moment, but I personally have a lot of experience with Google, in terms of “search engine marketing” and also with the use of their various data analytics platforms.
As new members of Inverness Chamber of Commerce, we are keen to expand our networks and talk to more businesses across the North of Scotland about their marketing plans for 2021 and beyond.
We operate Moment as a “full-service” or “integrated” marketing agency, providing services all the way from high-level marketing strategy and consultancy, through to the tactical implementation of digital and traditional marketing and advertising campaigns. Our team of design thinkers, data analysts and delivery-focused channel marketing experts are ready to support businesses of all sizes with their marketing, whatever needs they may have. A key learning throughout our collective 50 years of experience is that when it comes to marketing, there is no “one size fits all” solution – that’s why we design unique strategies for each and every one of our clients.
In the last 6 months, we have invested in becoming HubSpot Solution Partners, providing us the opportunity to work closely with this global sales and marketing platform. With our whole team trained on the tool and the technology itself backing up our work from search engine marketing, e.g. SEO; through social media, through email marketing and more – we are ready to consult businesses on all levels of HubSpot software usage whether it’s for contact management to empower your sales team, or to run sophisticated multi-channel marketing campaigns.
With hubs established in Aberdeen and Inverness, our next step is growing our hub in Auld Reekie throughout the early part of 2021. This will allow us not only to tap into the many large, centrally-located technology companies and greater technical resources available in the Capital; but to share those learnings back with our hub teams and clients across the North of Scotland. Similarly, throughout the year we will invest in growing our first continental hub in Cologne, in order to establish key trade routes for our existing Scottish partners into Europe, post-December.
We are accredited by the Data & Marketing Association – an industry body focussed on ensuring marketing practices are in line with all current and future legislation, especially around the use of consumer data in relation to the GDPR and both B2C and B2B privacy regulations. We are also members of Marketing Society Scotland and certified technology partners of HubSpot, Google, Sprout Social, Squarespace, Shopify and more.
ICC asked us what we value most about our chamber membership: “We value the ability to network with and get to know other members, in addition to learning more about the wider issues and trends impacts.”
